Local Shifting Services in Dum Duma
Shifting within Dum Duma is usually a same-day job. Stairs, lane width and lift access at both ends drive the cost far more than the few kilometres between them.
A local move is a different job from a long-distance one. There is no overnight leg, no transit warehouse and no multi-day uncertainty — but there is a lot more carrying, and access at both ends decides almost everything about the cost. We size the vehicle to the narrowest lane involved rather than to the load, bring a crew matched to the number of flights of stairs, and finish most local moves the same day, including basic placement of furniture in the new home.
Guwahati's hillside neighbourhoods need smaller vehicles; tea-estate bungalows need estate permission to enter.
