About This Service
Paintings, sculpture, antique furniture and heirlooms are the items where a standard packing job is not good enough, because there is no replacing them if it fails. We build crates to the piece rather than fitting the piece to a carton, use acid-free materials against surfaces, photograph and condition-report everything before it is wrapped, and keep art off the general load. It costs more than ordinary packing and it should — the alternative is a repair bill for something that cannot actually be repaired.
