Packers and Movers in Srinagar

Srinagar is the capital of Jammu & Kashmir, a city of about 9,76,000 people in Jammu & Kashmir. Jammu city has reasonable access, while valley towns have narrow roads and older multi-storey houses.

Harsh winters in the valley with snow from December to February; the Jammu plains are hot in summer. We pack for that: plastic over cartons when it is wet, padded corners for rough roads, and covered vehicles only.

Srinagar is hill country: the last stretch often needs a smaller vehicle and a manual carry, which we survey and price upfront rather than adding on the day. Vehicle and consignment paperwork must be complete before departure because of checkposts on the approach.

A move in Srinagar starts with a free survey — in person where the distance allows, over a video call where it does not — and a written quotation that lists the vehicle, the crew, the packing materials and the transit cover. Loads to Srinagar cover about 750 km from Dehradun and usually take 2–3 days, with GPS tracking the whole way. Call +91 93687 13463 or +91 91197 56710, or email info@gaticargopacker.in.
